About
Good software is the kind people stop noticing. It does its job day after day, and nobody has to think about it. Getting there takes judgement more than code: understanding the problem before solving it, choosing the simplest design that will hold up, and leaving out whatever doesn't earn its place.
I work best close to the people I build for, in short loops where we can see what's real and change course early. I'd rather raise an uncomfortable question today than explain a surprise next month. Give me a hard problem and room to think, and that's where I do my best work.
